francisco. and 65 degrees in santa rosa. more on those pending 70-degree temperatures coming up. let's check the roads with elizabeth. >> what day is it going to be? all right. thank you, lawrence. so we promise to tell you what the slowest commute so far of the morning is and it's this one, coming out of tracy from 205 out towards the altamont pass. a lot of brake lights, seeing a lot of traffic in the westbound lanes and slowing out of livermore. roadwork in the stretch approaching north greenville. close second the westbound 4 road slow from a street and lone tree way. 16 miles per hour and then it gets better towards the pittsburg-bay point area and concord. southbound 101 through san rafael looks like this, a nice ride down towards the golden gate. and south bay the only spot we're seeing some slowdowns now is 101 coming into san jose and it's right there by the mckee exit where we have a photographer this morning showing us a live look in those northbound lanes. it was slower earlier this morning but just a heads up, you may find some delay
degrees in san francisco. and 65 degrees in santa rosa. when might we see those temperatures up in the 70s? we'll talk about that coming up. let's check the roads with elizabeth. >> we are just cruising right along so far in traffic. no big hot spots. people take a little while to get going sometimes on a monday. so if you are heading on the nimitz freeway, it sounds like there is still some overnight roadwork in lanes. they got two stretches of it on southbound 880 between 23rd and high street. they have closed the left lane and then if you are continuing southbound between davis street and marina, the right lanes remain closed. caltrans expects to pick those up, those closures up here, very shortly. in the meantime, towards the bay bridge quiet into san francisco. to our maps. checking our bay area bridges, san mateo bridge at the limit as you come up on the high- rise. menlo park looks good heading out of the city both directions of 4 moving at the limit. other roads across the bay area, 64 miles per hour into berkeley this morning. no d
s in santa rosa and san jose. overnight 30s and 40s. even warmer still as we continue throughout the workweek. so yeah, plenty of sunshine to start off with tomorrow. milder conditions and not quite as breezy as what we saw today especially around the coast. temperatures mainly in the low 60s. so another nice day for the last half of the weekend. high pressure is really going to continue to build so we are not really seeing much rain over the next 24 hours. you can see in our futurecast, that high pressure firmly in place. our next chance of rain is really way off into the future by next sunday so more than a week away. our long range models pick that up possibly by next sunday but again it's too far out to fully predict. here's your overnight lows. temperatures in the 30s to 40s. 37 if you are in fairfield. 36 in fremont. mid-40s in san francisco tonight. and then by tomorrow, once again with all the sunshine it's going to feel nice. but definitely jacket weather in some parts of the bay area. 61 in san rafael. 59 in san francisco. and a li

in the clouds and also some patchy dense fog out toward some of the inland valleys for santa rosa and napa. concord a record low of 40. here's the weather system developing out here in the pacific. tomorrow partly to mostly cloudy skies. the clouds will be on the increase. this moves into the region producing rainfall. we haven't been talking about much rainfall this time of year. this is not an extreme rainfall producer. but the cold air moves in. that will drop our snow levels down to 2,500 feet possibly down to 2,000 feet. so we could have a bit of a dusting in the bay area hills. as we mentioned the clouds will start out the day for your monday. then they thicken up the cloud cover. this system tries to bring a few sprinkles. here's what happens first thing tuesday. the cold air sweeps into the region and we could have dropping snow levels down to 2,000 feet especially by tuesday afternoon and tuesday evening. bulk of the rainfall expected by mid-morning tuesday. as far as tomorrow we'll continue to cool things off mainly in the mid- to upper 50s. no more 70s. no more 50s. san jose a f
